Getting to Qamea
Fiji is located in the South Pacific with most international flights arriving into Nadi Airport on the main island of Viti Levu. To reach Qamea you need to fly with Fiji Airways or Island Hoppers, from Nadi to Taveuni. The flight is a visual adventure as you fly over breathtaking azure blue waters, coral reefs and deserted islands.
Your arrival into Taveuni Airport in North Fiji: After an 80 minute scenic flight from Nadi you will land in Taveuni where one of our resort representatives will be waiting to greet you. Your baggage will be loaded into our air conditioned transport van and you will be on your way. The drive to our landing is around 20 minutes and will take you through the lush tropics of Taveuni Island and local villages. Once you’ve reached the landing our boat will be there waiting for you. There is no dock at our landing so be prepared to get your feet wet! It usually is less than knee deep and one of our boat captains will be more than happy to assist you. It takes under 10 minutes by boat from our landing to the resort.
Your arrival to Qamea Resort & Spa: Once the boat has reached the island you will be greeted by one of our friendly staff who will organise your check in and from there you’ll be escorted to your bure and your vacation will begin!! A little off the well worn path, Qamea’s location and landscape is beautifully unique.
